Stabilize Your Cash Flow NOW!

stabilize cash flow

The Lazy Days of Summer are upon us in North America. Are you planning on enjoying these long summer days? Maybe take it easy with your business?

Before you slink off to the pool or beach, have you thought about the cash flow for your business? Or are you thinking you’ll deal with it later – maybe in August or September?

Now I’m not telling you that you can’t enjoy the summer. We all want to take advantage of the beautiful weather and balmy temperatures.

But no one wants to wake up one August morning and realize they have no money coming in. This leads to frustration later when you’re scurrying around trying to make up for your less productive months.  In short, it contributes to you having to ride the financial roller coaster.

You can avoid this.

Make a plan today to create the cash flow that keeps your business going in the fall.

Here are my top 3 ways to create cash flow now:

Line up VIP Planning Sessions with your clients.

Your clients need a plan, and many don’t have one. Summer is a great time to help them make those plans.

Remember you’re in business because you’re an expert at what you do. You have something to offer, so offer it! (And if you don’t believe that, just remember that even a 4th grader can teach a 3rd grader something.)

Look at your calendar over the next couple of months. Find a series of “half-days” and offer a Summer Special with special pricing to your clients.

They get a solid plan to head into the last quarters of the year; you create cash flow for the fall.

Have a Lazy Days of Summer Sale

Take stock of the various products you offer. It could be CDs or audio interviews, books you’ve written, and any current e-products. Create different bundled packages to offer to your list. Mark them to sell over the summer months and generate a consistent cash flow.

Don’t have an e-book to sell? Look through your articles and blog posts. Gather them together in an e-book format and market it as a summer special.

Follow-up on “I’ll Get to it Someday” List

What better time to clean off that ‘I’ll-follow-up-when-them-someday’ list than during the summer months?

Schedule a few morning hours to get on the phone. Talk to people you had planned on “following-up” with when you had more time. Ask them to work with you.

Create a ‘summer special’ program for 8 weeks and sell it. It doesn’t have to be complicated. Just make it an on-line course with some Q&A calls with you  sprinkled in. Your clients get to sharpen their skills at their own pace and at their convenience.  Invite past clients to join in and refresh themselves with what they’ve learned from you in the past.

What better way to get geared up for the hustle and bustle of fall business than to have a little summer school?

You know, just like I do, summer will be over before we know it. Don’t wake up one August morning to discover you have no business in your funnel and no cash in your account.

What are you going to do THIS WEEK that will generate cash flow later?
