Karma Affects Business! Is Yours Negative or Positive?
Every year millions of people start a new business – few survive and even fewer reach a level of significant success.
An obvious question should be, why are there so many people failing to create a successful business?
Maybe their karma is affecting their business?
We often hear the word karma thrown around in everyday conversation, but few of us understand what karma really means. It’s true that it is tied to reaping what we sow. But that is only a small portion of the bigger picture.
In my new book Karma Buster, I define karma as the blueprint for the emotional work you came to experience in this lifetime.
Let me explain what I mean.
For a long time, I had terrible business and financial karma. My father died when I was 12 and I experienced two business bankruptcies before I was 30-years-old.
It was frustrating as I worked hard, set goals, read books, attended seminars and spoke affirmations, while others who didn’t work as hard or use these principles were much more successful than I was.
Noticing this, I set out on a mission to figure out what I was missing. What was there that I couldn’t see? I discovered that there was an invisible force at work where hard work and intelligence stopped.
It is an energy that operates in sync with your karma and your beliefs. It’s based on your own personal emotional experiences. While some seem to attract success easily, others move along at a snail’s pace, experiencing struggles and heartache along the way.
What I came to realize is that I needed to experience failure to thrive.
How does this help you? How can you move through blocks to clear your negative business karma?
Surprisingly, the answers are simple. BUT they are difficult to execute. It requires that you remove yourself from your over-thinking mind and look at the world with a new set of eyes.
Here are the three simple keys to overturn your negative business karma:
Key #1: Accept Your Situation
Instead of complaining and become self-critical or start blaming others, accept that you are where you need to be at this moment in time.
Key #2: Observe Your Patterns
Karma is attached to behavioral patterns. Look for your patterns that appear in sequential order. For instance, I attract what I believe to be good clients, but then struggle to get paid.
Take a moment to consider this question: Are you attracting opportunities and people that support your mission?
If you’re honest here, you will see what you are creating.
Key #3: Take Opposite Action
The way to break your negative karma starts when you take an opposite action. To do this well, you’ll need to think of this in two steps:
First – do the opposite of what you would normally do. For example, if you are always extending yourself so you can help others, learn to say no.
Second – deal with any feelings of guilt. As you start to put yourself first, you shift your energy which in turn creates new, more positive patterns.
This will take time as you embrace a new way of operating. Enjoy the process and become a Karma Buster.
